Ann's Studio of the Dance

Under the direction of Ann Zenstein and an experienced faculty of qualified instructors, our goal is to provide Bucks County with the finest dance instruction in the greatest variety of styles in the area.

We offer a full schedule of classes in classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Modern and Latin/Ballroom.

We also offer Rhythmicise classes for children 2-1/2 - 4 years and Kindergarten of Dance for children ages 4 - 6; plus a variety of classes for adults at all levels.

Our goal is to develop the potential of each individual, while enhancing his or her love of dance. We discourage competition between students, but encourage each individual to challenge their personal abilities and growth.

We strive to create a friendly atmosphere for our students.

Programs for Everyone

We offer classes for everyone, starting at 2 ½ years of age, and continuing through our adult program. We also have classes for all skill levels, beginner thru advanced.

We design a program tailored to your child's needs, whether it is a class once a week for fun and exercise, or a special program for the more serious dancer. We have a performance once a year to give all of our students a fun-filled on-stage opportunity. For the more advanced students, we have competition teams (by audition), which compete in local dance/talent competitions.

Ann’s Studio of the Dance opened its doors and began teaching dance in the Bucks County area in 1981. We are proud of the many fine dancers we have trained over the years. Current and former students have gone on to careers in dance. Some have grown into fine teachers themselves. We congratulate our alumni!

From Tot's to Adults and In Between -

Ann's Studio of the Dance has classes called "Me and Mommy" for children as young as 18 months to 3 years old with Mommy (or companion). For 3 and 4 year olds we offer Rhythmicise where children develop rhythm, creativity, dance movement and confidence. For pre-school children we offer Kindergarten of Dance where ballet is introduced in a technical but tender loving way. Tap is rhythmical and fun for all ages starting at 5 years old. Jazz, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop are recommended for children and adults over age 7 years. Ballroom/ Latin is offered throughout the year for couples and singles, groups and private.

Each child is a precious and valuable person and as such should be treated with love and dignity.

Each child develops physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually according to his or her own unique timetable.

Dance is a Performance Art. As such, students should have an experience on stage that helps them develop poise and confidence.

Ann Zenstein has been Artistic Director of Ann's Studio of the Dance since 1981.

She opened Ann's Studio of Dance in 1981 in Holland, PA specializing in teaching pre-school to advance level ballet.
